Addmerit can develop a product from a concept to the completion of market-ready samples. We specialize in apparel, soft goods, and sewn products for multiple applications. Our Prototype development process is an adaptive mix of design insight and technical expertise.

Pattern Drafting

Addmerit's in-house patternmaker develops flat patterns from sketches, photos or existing garments. All patterns are drafted by hand; however, digital files are available.

Sample Construction

Addmerit produces sales samples, sew-by samples and top-of-production samples.

 

Marking+Cutting

Addmerit can cut thousands of units per style, producing efficient markers that maximize the fabric’s yield for the least amount of waste possible.

Size Grading

Addmerit can determine a basic grade rule for your company by creating sizing specific to your target market. All grading is done by hand.

Production

Addmerit provides low minimum production with the capability to produce up to 5,000 pieces per style. Experience includes children’s wear, tailored women’s-and-menswear, uniforms, activewear, outerwear and many other non-garment sewn goods.

 

Technical design

Addmerit offers technical packages that include illustrations and specification sheets with key measurements to be used for overseas production, quality assurance, and sizing charts for web sales.

Relationships

Addmerit is proud to have relationships with many subcontractors to help clients emerge with a complete product. This includes sources for screen printing, embroidery, woven or printed labels and hangtags, dye houses, patent attorneys and fulfillment warehouses.

Branding

Addmerit offers full-scale branding and identity creation, graphic design and copywriting.
